STARHUNTER Season 2 Premieres August 9 on SPACE

    TORONTO, July 18 /CNW/ - Sci-fi and Western come together in the second
season of Starhunter. The new season premieres on SPACE: The Imagination
Station Saturday, August 9 at 7pm ET with an encore presentation on Wednesday,
August 13 at 9pm ET.
    In the first season, bounty hunter Dante Montana and his cohorts pursued
evil outlaws through the solar system while searching for his lost son, Travis
Montana. In season two, Clive Robertson (Sunset Beach) who plays Travis all
grown-up has been found, but Dante has gone missing. Travis steps into his
father's shoes assuming the role of bounty hunter. His crew consists of his
cousin Percy Montana who is played by Tanya Allen (The Newsroom), a bright and
wilful woman, Callista "Callie" Larkadia played by Dawn Stern (413 Hope St.) a
weapons expert, Marcus Fagen played by Paul Fox (Coronation Street) the ship's
technical guru, and the grumpy and irritable Rudolpho deLuna played by Stephen
Marcus.
    In all 22 episodes, the crew pursues a different villain, each more
dangerous and cunning than the last. The focal point of the series is the
ongoing tension between the forces who seek to destroy and the heroes
determined to stop them.
